Week 6 - Claire

Here's my take at the object we were given this week. I struggled with my rendering a lot this week, and so it isn't as polished as I'd like it to be, but here's what I was able to get done. It's supposed to be a sort of futuristic pirate chest, with a power generator sealing it for extra security.

Tarik - week6

I had some obligations so I could not work as much as I'd like. This is how far I got. Some torture kit, I'll ad a red light (some blood reflection) on the left side.

Peter Kapritsias - Week 6

I didn't really think about design. It's supposed to be a medieval helmet with some cloth over it. But I mainly used this as a way to see if procreate can handle photobashing.

Week 6 - Daphne Martinez

Sorry I had a lot of trouble with the design.

Week6

this is my little lightsaber handle, maybe a light dagger?

Simon - Week 5

Week 5 - Andrew

Hello! I fixed the perspective and built a mystical church. I'm excited to see everyone's work!

Week 5

My image from last week was already finished so I decided to do another.

Week 5 (Démie)

Ok, I wasn't enchanted to work further in this room. I struggled so much with the textures already and I had to do it all over again. I was in total "bleh!" (a special thanks to the ones who give me good comments on it, it help me go through it) ;o)

Since the assignment was to "give life" to the room, the thought of recycling a griffin sketch into this room saved the day (well, the 3 days I worked on this) :P ;o)

So here it is. Let's start with my references, for the griffin + the nest

My image:
(I hope my textures are better integrated, though they remain what I'm less satisfied about this project). I made a subtil effect of blurring the background as it go deeper, but also the foreground too, like it would with a camera, with a certain depth of field set up. I'm always happy to have constructive critiques :)

I made a close up to the griffin and nest, cuz I'm wish to have comments on light & shadow. I had to improvised light & shadows, as they were not the same at all in my references, so I have doubts here and there... Also, I'm not sure if the integration of the room and the creature matches well (mostly the paws, the hey, the bricks and the shadow underneath the griffin...)

Week 5 Homework

Week 5 - Daniel

Here is what I managed to do this week. It's still missing some detail and other elements that I haven't had the chance to finish yet.

week 5

Managed to get one finished this week but I think I might have went a little overboard with the the light rays.
I went with a red marble flooring and choose some sandstone bricks to try and compliment it.
When designing the area I had in mind to make it sort of like a water altar but dont think that idea came across very well.
